Thursday, February 23 | Youth Day | 10:30am - 11:30am | 12:45pm - 1:45pm
Gen Z has done so much to destigmatize conversations about mental halth, but issues of faith and spirituality are often missing from the conversation. In this presentation, Steven Ellair shares what Sprintide Research Institute has learned from national studies about the role of faith in creating positive mental health for young people. You'll hear directly from young people about the intersection of faith and mental health as well as learn what you can do to support your own mental health and the mental health of those around you.
Steven Ellair has a special passion for bringing faith and meaning to life for young people. He has been involved in religious education for over 30 years and has served as a Catholic school teacher, parish catechist, youth minister, and Archdiocesan educational consultant. For the past 18 years, Steven has found his home in Catholic publishing and currently serves as the editorial director at Saint Mary's Press.
