Vision and Skills for Faith Formation Fall 2025
A formation based on the philosophy of missionary discipleship and accompaniment.
This formation builds on the process of accompaniment introduced and modeled in the One Mission One Faith (OMOF) basic formation. Each participant will be paired with a mentor-companion and assigned to a small group of mentees-companions in ministry. Together, they will journey through the process to gain the vision and presenting skills for making missionary disciples. The terms 'mentor-companion' and 'mentee-companion' are used to distinguish roles and acknowledge the reciprocity of companionship.
Prerequisite for certification (re): Completing One Mission One Faith before attending this course. VSFF is the second phase in the process of becoming a certified catechist, although a participant may take the course for enriching formation in any parish ministry.
