NCP- Fall 2020-Foundations/Skills/Leading
The Youth Ministry Division is pleased to announce that the National Certificate Program in Youth Ministry Studies 2020 courses will be offered as a blended learning program
The traditional courses (2 days of in-person instruction for each course) have been re-configured to allow for a combination of live instruction and online courses. The learning from 2 traditional courses is done through 2 live courses and 1 online course.
Live courses are 7 hours of instruction spread over three days. They are done in real-time using all the features of a Zoom classroom to engage participants in the learning process (since we cannot gather in person).
Online courses are asynchronous, meaning you participate on your own schedule. This course content is provided over a four-week period, with approx. 2 ½ hours of participation each week.
Live Zoom Course #3: Foundations for Ministry Leadership Dates/times: September 28, 29, 30 6:00 - 8:20pm
Live Zoom Course #4: Skills for Christian Leadership Dates/times: October 12, 13, 14 6:00 - 8:20pm
Online Course #1 Leading Youth Ministry
Date info: Offered over 4 weeks from October 26th- November 20th
(Participate each week on your own schedule. Total time needed is approximately 2 ½ hours per week)
Fees:
- $250 to register for all courses (Principles/Practices/Visioning), paid in full or in 3 installments
Payment 1: $75 due at registration (by September 9th)
Payment 2: $75 due by October 5th
Payment 3: $100 due by October 19th
- $100 for individual Zoom course registration, paid in full at time of registration
- $150 for individual Asynchronus course registration paid in full at time of registration.
Register by September 11th (12:00 noon) (so we can order materials in time to get them to you prior to the beginning of the course.) If space is available, late registrations may be accepted with a $25 late fee.
