As you go forth, you are invited to reflect and pray throughout the weekend on how God is calling you to live out compassion. Once you
gain clarity on God’s invitation, you are invited to write your commitment on the papers provided at the tables in the Arena Lobby
and place it in the designated basket. As a seal of your commitment, you will also draw an outline of your hand on the panels located in the Arena Lobby. These written commitments will be offered during the closing liturgy. Together, with God’s grace and love, we can build compassionate communities!
Sr. Rosalia Meza, VDMF, is the Senior Director of the Office of Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and a member of the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity (VDMF). She serves as the U.S. provincial for her community. Sr. Rosalia was previously the Director of Religious Education at St. Anthony’s Parish in Long Beach. She holds a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley.
