CATECHETICAL MINISTRY YEAR
Evangelizing Catechesis for a Digital Age
Course Description
In today’s media-saturated world, Catholic ministers and catechists are called to meet people where they are—often in the midst of popular culture. This course explores how grace is already present in the media environment, making it a vital context for evangelization. Participants will discover the theological and pastoral foundations for engaging media with faith values, learn the Media Mindfulness strategy for integrating Catholic teaching into media experiences, and apply this catechetical model to every aspect of faith formation. Together, we will cultivate a media spirituality that forms disciples who can navigate and transform the digital culture with wisdom, discernment, and joy.
