Words matter! What’s our sense of the difference between compassion, pity, mercy, and similar words? How can we best describe and understand Jesus’ own attitude toward people who are suffering or in need? This workshop will look closely at how Jesus interacts with various persons in the Gospels, and how we are called to follow his example in our own interactions with others.
