Early in ministry, young adults face overwhelming challenges as they establish their identity as leaders, navigate the dynamics of work/life balance and nurture their own spiritual lives. Over time their zeal may fade as their wells run dry. This practical workshop will draw upon the Church’s own origins to help participants embody the qualities mentors need to develop young integrated ministry leaders and to accompany young adults in the faith.

Colleen Moore is associate director of the McGrath Institute for Church Life and program director for Echo, a two-year graduate service program that partners with dioceses to train the next generation of lay leaders in faith formation and theological education in parishes and schools. She earned her B.A. and M.Div. from the University of Notre Dame. Her interests lie in integrative approaches to theology and ministry formation through the arts.
