Did you know that being kind and compassionate towards others enhances our immune systems, increases our life expectancy, protects us from heart disease, decreases the risk of depression, and more? We'll explore the fascinating neuroscience and spirituality of compassion, including how we can nurture it in ourselves and others.
Anne Kertz Kernion founded Cards by Anne over 40 years ago. She won awards for integrating health spirituality which was outlined in her book, "Spiritual Practices for the Brain" (Loyola). Her backgraound in engineering, theology, neuroscience and positive psychology informs her presentations for groups across the United States and Australia. Anne teaches a weekly yoga class and enjoys biking and hiking. She and her husband Jack have three grown children and 6 grand children.
