If we think that science is a sure way to get to all the right answers, we misunderstand the nature and history of science. Science gets closer to the truth only by recognizing where and how it goes wrong. In just the same way we can learn how to grow in our understanding of God, who is Truth itself; for the worst kind of wrong is to be self-satisfied with what we think we already know, and stop seeking to be ever closer to God.
Christina Lamas began in Youth Ministry after a decade of volunteering, driven by a passion for empowering young people in their faith. She later held roles in the Office of Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Now, as Executive Director of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), she brings over 25 years of experience in catechesis and youth ministry. Christina lives in Maryland with her daughter, Isabella.
