We experience grace as an encounter with God's presence, love, strength, consolation, assistance, virtue, or mercy. But there is another side of grace that we experience as spiritual darkness. Fr. Albert will discuss the dynamics of spiritual darkness, how to respond to it, and how it really is a grace from God that can lead us to deeper compassion.
Ordained a Franciscan priest in 1983, Albert Haase, OFM, is a popular preacher and teacher. A former missionary to mainland China for more than eleven years, he is the award-winning author of more than fifteen books on popular spirituality and the presenter on five best-selling streaming videos (Paraclete Press). He currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
