The Church needs to adapt to global changes and to adopt a new approach to leadership. In today's world, the challenges we face are increasingly adaptive in nature. This requires changing our hearts and minds without changing our church teachings and traditions. This workshop will probe Scripture for its basis in servant leadership, and the business literature for its insights on adaptive leadership, to address adaptive strategies to such leadership challenges as: 1. How can we create a culture of love in our parishes, schools and communities? 2. How can we become a Church that practices synodal listening? 3. How can we respond to the Great Commission to be disciples who become apostles? 4. How can we encourage more servant leadership from the clergy and laity? 5. How can we delegate more administrative duties to the laity?
