If you are a gamer, this workshop will help you live virtuously with your gaming experience. If you know little about video games, then this will be an opportunity to delve into a world where over 3 billion people engage regularly. Through an overview of genres and games, participants will discover how to make choices based on faith values using the tools of media mindfulness, values assessment, and intermittent media fasting to address overuse.
Sr. Nancy Usselmann, FSP, is the Director of Pauline Media Studies, a Media Literacy Educator, theologian, writer, speaker, and film/TV reviewer. She is a Doctoral candidate at Catholic University of America and is the author of "Media Fasts: Six Weeks to Recharge in Christ" (Pauline Books & Media) and "A Sacred Look: Becoming Cultural Mystics" (Wipf & Stock). Sr Nancy is often seen around Hollywood on film panels and at red carpet premieres.
