2-08: Youth Ministry On Purpose: Start With Why

What's the purpose of youth ministry? Have you ever stopped to ask that question? Youth ministry is full of events to plan and tasks to do. It's no wonder you and I immediately get into the weeds of planning, planning, planning. But our planning should be rooted purpose.  In this workshop, will examine the "why?" of your ministry to young people, which will drive the "how?" and "what?" of youth ministry.

Dr. John Rinaldo is Director of Business Partnerships at Cristo Rey St. Viator in North Las Vegas. John earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Organizational Development from the Pacific School of Religion at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.  He also has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry.  John served as a parish and diocesan director of youth and young adult ministry, parish business manager and served on the executive leadership team for Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County.  John is married and has three young children.
