Friday, February 24 | Period 2 | 1:00pm - 2:15pm
Brother Mickey will share his own Art and Stories centered on the history of Black and Dark Madonnas in the Catholic Church. In addition to Montserrat and Guadalupe, we will take a fresh look at beloved titles of Mary from the Litany of Loreto as seen through his own contemporary interpretations and experience. No matter the color or ethnic origin, all the Madonnas remind us of the healing power of beauty and our experiences of the Feminine Divine.
