Mental Health is a topmost issue in the lives of America's young people. Religious leaders, parents and other trusted adults need to understand how faith, religion and spirituality can play an important role in combating the unfolding mental health epidemic. In this presentation, Steven Ellair shares what Springtide Research Institute has learned from researching thousands of young people about how we can take a mental health friendly approach in our organizations by centering meaning, purpose and faith in order to keep mental health issues from becoming mental health crises.
Steven Ellair has a special passion for bringing faith and meaning to life for young people. He has been involved in religious education for over 30 years and has served as a Catholic school teacher, parish catechist, youth minister, and Archdiocesan educational consultant.
