Jesus invites us to, “seek first the Kingdom of God”, giving us parables of the Kingdom (Matt 25:31f). Walt Disney’s mission is “to entertain, inform and inspire people around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling...". Fr. Chris will connect the parables and lands of Disney to integrate Catholic Social Justice teachings for us as storytellers to live out, "Called To Compassion".
Fr. Chris Ponnet is chaplain and pastor at St. Camillus Center in Los Angeles, serving at L.A. General Medical Center. He was ordained a priest in 1983, was an associate pastor for 10 years and has served in this ministry for 30+ years. As a preacher and disciple of Jesus Christ, working in an interfaith setting and connecting the human stories in the hospital with the injustices of the world, storytelling is important to Fr. Chris. Stories of families are his favorite!
