Begun March 1991, Vida Nueva is the Spanish-language publication of the Los Angeles Archdiocese. Its purpose is to inform, educate and give recognition to the Hispanic community for its social, cultural and economic contributions. It is distributed free to churches and professional businesses in the Archdiocese. (Paid subscription for mailed delivery.) Vida Nueva has been awarded “Best Overall Publication” by the National Association of Hispanic Publications: Best Spanish Monthly (2003-2015), Best Spanish Weekly (1998-2001), and Best Bi-monthly Publication (1993-1997)
