Pope Francis has said that Christians are called “to live the faith, not individually or in isolation but in community, as a people loved and willed by God. To do this, it is essential to be aware that we are part of a Christian community. We are not just another group but the family of God gathered around the same Lord”.
The City of Saints Teen Conference gathers teens from throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to celebrate the wonderful cultures and diversity of our communities. We remember that all teens are called to be saints in our cities. During our time together, we pray participants will:
- Feel re-energized and inspired to seek the relationship with God
- Be comfortable with being a witness to the faith
- Understand the importance of connecting with the community
- Be sent with tools to sustain their journey of faith
