In this workshop, we will look at the Gift that is Diversity. We will discuss how we, as people of God, are called to share in the joys, pains, and needs of one another. By looking at how we are connected, we will discover what it truly means to be One Body of Christ. Dr. Augustine will use his book, "Leveling the Praying Field: Can the Church we Love, Love us Back" as a resource.

Dr. Ansel Augustine is Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He has worked in ministry throughout the country for over 25 years. He has worked in Youth, Young Adult, Campus, and Multicultural Ministries in various capacities. He is on the faculty at Loyola University New Orleans, Graduate Theological Foundation, and Xavier University of Louisiana's Institute for Black Catholic Studies.  He has presented and written various pieces related to ministry, most recently, his book, "Leveling the Praying Field: Can the Church We Love, Love Us Back" was a top release on Amazon.
