Welcoming persons with disabilities goes well beyond building a ramp or an accessible washroom at the parish. It begins with the recognition of the dignity of every member of the Body of Christ and continues through the attitudes and actions in every area of parish life. This presentation will engage participants in identifying both visible and invisible disabilities and explore practical ways for a parish to work toward becoming more welcoming.
