Chúng ta tin Thiên Chúa đã tạo dựng chúng ta giống hình ảnh Ngài, nhưng cùng lúc ta lại thực thể cạnh tranh, đối tượng, khao khát. Vậy cái gì quan trọng hơn? “Thiên Chúa lớn hơn lòng ta”, trong suy nghĩ và trong ước mơ. Vì Thiên Chúa thật là Thiên Chúa Tình yêu, là Bố của Đức Giêsu, là Bố của chúng ta. Bố thương con nuôi đến độ hy sinh con ruột. Bố thương ta vì ta tội lỗi, vì ta đau khổ. Trong buổi thuyết trình này chúng ta cùng tìm hiểu những cách thế, biểu lộ lòng yêu mến Chúa.
We believe that Man/Woman is created in God’s image, but at the same time, we have competing entities, objects, desires to which we hold more important. God is Love and is bigger than us, our thoughts, and our dreams. Because of this Love, God gave allowed his only begotten Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for our sins and times when we turn away from God. In this workshop, we will find ways to express our Love toward our one true God!
Đức Tổng Giuse Nguyễn Năng sinh năm 1953 tại Phúc Nhạc, Ninh Bình, Giáo Phận Phát Diệm. Tu học Chủng viện Sài Gòn và Giáo hoàng học viện Đà Lạt. Thụ phong linh mục năm 1990 tại Xuân Lộc. Từ năm 1998 đến năm 2002 Đức cha du học tại Roma và tốt nghiệp Tiến sĩ Thần Học Tín Lý. Ngày 25 tháng 7 năm 2009 Đức Giáo Hoàng Bênêdictô XVI bổ nhiệm làm Giám mục Chính Tòa Phát Diệm. Và ngày 19 tháng 10 năm 2019 Đức Giáo Hoàng Phanxicô bổ nhiệm làm Tổng Giám mục Tổng Giáo Phận Sài Gòn, kiêm Giám quản Tông Tòa Giáo phận Phát Diệm. Đức Tổng Giuse từng đảm nhiệm nhiều ủy ban quan trọng khác nhau trong HĐGMVN. Và hiện tại Đức Tổng Giuse là chủ tịch HĐGMVN.
Archbishop Joseph Nang Nguyen was born in 1953 at Phuc Nhac, Ninh Binh, Viet Nam. He entered seminary in Saigon and the Pontificate Seminary in Dalat and was ordained as a priest in 1990 at Xuan Loc. From 1998 to 2002, Archbishop Joseph studied and graduated with a Ph.D. in Theology from Rome. On July 25, 2009, he was ordained as a Bishop by Pope Benedict XVI and assigned to the Diocese of Phat Diem. In October 2019, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Joseph as the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh. He is currently the President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam (HDGMVN).
