Participants will engage in reflection and lively conversation as they explore and examine various tools, including the Inventory of Practices for Promoting Children's Social-Emotional Competence, Positive Behavior Supports, and behavior equations to identify ways they can address the function of children's behavior. They will explore how identifying the function of the behavior provides a foundation for implementing positive behavior supports.

Pam Perrino worked as an infant toddler teacher, preschool teacher, and center director. Pam works as an early childhood advocate and educational consultant. She has served on state-level writing teams in Ohio for the Early Learning and Development Standards and the Administrator core knowledge and Competencies. She has served on Ohio’s PD Committee, was a board member, and chair of the CCAC, and is a contributing writer to several curriculums.
