During the past year, many of the elderly in our communities have been isolated to protect them against the pandemic and are feeling relegated and/or abandoned because of the social distancing restrictions.
Come and join us in this hands-on workshop where children will learn to make an Easter pop-up card that will be distributed by our religious sisters to many of our elderly population in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We invite children of elementary-age (6 to 11 years old) to join this workshop and help us bring joy and love to an elderly person for Easter.
Each child must be registered individually by a parent. Notice there are two workshops according to two different age groups. By registering, parents give consent to their child's participation in this online event. Parents are welcome and encouraged to accompany their children during the workshop, and they must use their personal Zoom account with their camera turned on and the family name clearly visible in the video window. This workshop will not be recorded and no recording by participants will be allowed.
Attached to the publicity flyer is a list of materials each child must have to participate of the workshop.
