Cards of Hope for Christmas (Zoom Eng)

Online English workshop (via Zoom) for catechists and teachers who want to join our efforts to bring hope to the elderly in our community this Christmas.
SKU: CardsOfHopeChristmas_ORE-C3_2021_ZEng

During the past year, many of the elderly in our communities have been isolated to protect them against the pandemic and are feeling relegated and/or abandoned because of the social distancing restrictions.

This hands-on workshop is intended for catechists and catholic school teachers who minister to children of elementary age (from 6-11 years old). Join this hands-on worksho, where you will learn to make a pop-up Christmas card filled with words of hope and encouragement. Then, you will teach the children in your ministry how to make a card of their own as a way to share their love for Jesus with the elderly in our communities. We will collect the cards you make and they will be distributed by one of the archdiocesan Religious Sisters to the elderly in our communities who are living in isolation due to the current pandemic.

This is a FREE workshop and by participating you agree to collaborate with this project by creating pop-up cards for the elderly in our community.

Attached to the publicity flyer is a list of materials each catechist or teacher must have in order to participate in the workshop.

Online registration is required by December 8th, 2021.
