During the past couple of years, many of the elderly in our communities have experienced isolation due to the pandemic, and many are still feeling relegated and/or abandoned because of the social distancing restrictions and health guidelines that restrict close contact with other people.
The Cards of Hope for Christmas is a great opportunity to reach out to the elderly with hopes of love and hope for the holy season. Come and join us in this hands-on workshop where children and their families will learn to make a Christmas pop-up card that will be distributed by a group of Religious Sisters to many of our elderly population in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We invite parents and children of elementary-age (6 to 11 years old) to join this workshop and help us bring joy, hope and love to an elderly person this Christmas.
Each family must register in order to participate in this FREE workshop, and all materials will be provided. This workshop will be conducted in-person and we will strictly follow COVID-19 safety guidelines (wear your maks, practice social distancing, stay home if you are feeling sick, etc.). At least one parent must be present. Space is limited, please register soon.
Registration is required by December 10th, 2021.
