Friday, February 24 | Period 2 | 1:00pm - 2:15pm 

The music of these sacraments celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit and the nourishment that Christ gives us with his Body and his Blood. Come and sing music that is a beautiful fit for the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. There will be music in English, Spanish and Bilingual form.

Jaime Cortez is a pastoral musician, concert artist and composer of liturgical music. He has given workshops on music and liturgy and catechesis for over 25 years. He has a degree in Music Composition from the School of Music in Arizona State University and has been a pastoral musician for over 30 years. He was voted the NPM Pastoral Musician of the Year in 2016. 

Jaime Cortez es músico pastoral, concertista y compositor de música litúrgica.  Ha impartido talleres de música y liturgia y catequesis durante más de 25 años.  Tiene una licenciatura en Composición Musical por la Escuela de Música de la Universidad Estatal de Arizona y ha sido músico pastoral durante más de 30 años.  Fue elegido músico pastoral del año por la NPM en 2016.
